Broadway Express offers one-day intensive workshops to schools and students around the greater NYC area. We also offer these workshops in select cities nationally and internationally. The workshops are fun, high energy, and intense. Sessions have up to 60 students made up of 4th-12th graders. Students begin the day with a group choreo session, and then have a group industry infomation session. Followed by 3 technique classes (Acting, sining, dancing), of which each staff can choose what they want to teach. After lunch break, there are more choreo sessions to prepare for the end of day showcase. At the end of the day, a showcase is held for the school community and parents to highlight the skills worked on during the day. Showcases include two numbers the students learned during the day, and several numbers performed by staff (favorite solos, duets, dance, monologue etc.). Students will arrive with music and scripts prepared. We offer stress free training and continued support to ensure staff has a rewarding and successful teaching experience.
